We often think of home management tools in terms of to-lists and meal plans, calendars, goal planners, and other similar tools. Timers should be on this list, as I think. The time we have is limited. Timers can assist us to make the most of our time as well as being home managers. They can also make parenting a bit easier. These are just a few ways adding an timer to your arsenal of home management tools will make your life simpler and more enjoyable. 1. Self care This is the reason I am putting it at the top of my list. And I noticed a huge change when I began. Like most women, moms specifically I find it difficult to squeeze time for self-care in my busy schedule and find the time I need for myself. Therefore, I began using a timer to make sure I got some me time' each day. It's typically interrupted but that's more than none! It is possible to start at the time that is best for you , and then focus on what is most important to you and your soul. It's worth the effort. 2. Cleaning When I went going out for a cup of coffee, I mentioned that I was writing this article to three of my buddies. It soon became clear that there are two kinds of cleaners. The ones who tidy until everything is clean and those who want to do the dirty work. Four of us were divided in half. If you're part of the first group, create the alarm timer online and then clean up like a mad woman until it goes off. Then stop. Even if you have to sweep the floor, or even if you have laundry on the couch. Stop and do something you like or focus on other things that need to be done. It is possible to set a new timer, but for now , take a break and move on with your life. Set the timer to clean up if you fall into the second category. You must not stop, do nothing else or get your feet wet. All you have to do is clean. While cleanliness might not be the top priority however, you will appreciate a cleaner and more organized your home. 3. WAHMs can establish work limits/boundaries. A timer is an effective tool for stay-at-home mothers. When we establish limits for our time we work harder and concentrate more since we do not want to be able to complete work when we actually had enough time. We are more productive when we see the clock ticking. It isn't easy to concentrate on work when we are at home with our kids. However, we can remain focused on other tasks that need to be done. However, if we set an acceptable time frame for working on our projects, we can tell everything else that we will get to it once the timer beeps but right this moment I'm working. A timer lets our kids know that we'll be with them again, but we just need some time right now. It's easier for them to be patient and entertain themselves as mommy will be back soon. 4. Get to bed at the right time Sometimes, after a long day, I want to go to sleep. But I must sleep. Enter the go-to-bed alarm. The alarm will go off and you can get prepared to sleep. There's no need to go back to watching another episode of Netflix or work on a project. You can go to bed. Go to bed. Beth's Go to Bed Challenge inspired this concept. It's important to go to bed in time. Setting an alarm will help you get the rest you require. 5. It is possible to reach places when you are at the right moment. I'm more involved in the lives of my children as they get older. This means I need to be a bit more disciplined to keep my children in line with their schedules. So I set up a timer that would go off whenever we were required to prepare to leave. It's sometimes 5 minutes, because we just need to put on shoes and head out of the door. Other times it's 20 minutes, so that we can gather up everything we require. Setting an alarm doesn't mean I need to be alert. A buzzer will signal me that it's time to go. Since then, I'm on time more often.
